Tell All Tuesday! Summer Flashback At Disney World!

Ooooohhh, I love this week's topic for Tell All Tuesday: Summer Flashback!  Click the picture above to join the fun!  I absolutely love looking at photos of our old family vacations.  This one to Disney World is at the top of my list!

Here we are at Disney World 2012.  Lily (Cinderella) is four almost five and Claire (Minnie) is about one and a half years old.  Pardon me while I get some tissues :( boo hoo I miss my babies....

Cinderella and her handsome prince ;)

We ate breakfast at Cinderella's Castle and got to meet a lot of princesses there.  It was totally worth the $150 breakfast!  Not kidding :)

And my sweet Minnie Mouse!  She was a trooper through the crowds and rain, I mean downpour of rain!  Exhausting and so so so much fun!  My daughters have grown out of the princess stage, but I may have to drag them back there. ;)

Monday Made-It Chalk Paint Mason Jars

I'm so excited to join the linky this week!  If there is one thing I love to do during the summer, its crafting! (plus cleaning, remodeling, reading....)  So many choices, so little time. ;)

This Monday Made-It was incredibly easy peasy!  I chalk painted some Mason jars I had lying around, tied some twine around the top, slapped on a chalkboard sticker, and BAM!  Beautiful storage for my desk supplies at home or school.

Supplies:

Mason jars
1/2 c. Plaster of Paris
1/2 c. cold water
1 1/2 c. latex paint

Check out the blog post that inspired my DIY Chalk Paint.

Mix up the plaster and water, then add the paint.  It has a bit of a rougher texture, which is totally great for rubbing off on the edges.  I used sand paper to give it the rustic look.

I scored the chalkboard stickers at Wal-Mart for $1.97!!

This baby is over 100 pages of writers workshop magic!  Great for grades K-2 and here's the best part, (my favorite part) it includes mentor text and anchor labels to use during whole group writing time.  The very BEST BEST part is that my preview contains 4 pages of FREEBIES!  Download the preview here.

Have a wonderful week!

Five For Friday + My Hopes and Dreams

It's Five for Friday plus my hopes and dreams.  :)  Don't worry, I won't cry. ;)

This is week 2 of the TPT Seller's Challenge and even though I feel like I'm super busy this summer, I'm so glad I joined!  I loved doing this week's challenge because I rarely have time to sit and THINK!  Does anyone else have this problem???

Back to school??  I may not be ready for that one, but when my kids get a little older, I definitely want to pursue my Master's degree.  I have a few classes towards Sped, but really would like the Reading Specialist certification.
My little ol' TPT store has 44 followers, and I love every single one of them!!!  Thank you for believing in my products!
Remodeling a few rooms and a Disney cruise wraps up my hopes and dreams.  Of course, my highest dreams would be for my children to have a happy, healthy life!!!

We celebrated Daddy's Day poolside at my sweet mother-in-
laws.  My niece is showing off her new braiding skills. :)

This week I power washed all of my classroom rugs.  Don't think for a second that vacuuming does the job!!  LOTS of dirty water came out of my morning meeting ones, yuck. :/  This one above washed up clean as a whistle.  It is an outdoor rug I found on sale at Lowe's last summer, score!!  It's totally my fave because it's woven plastic.  This bad boy will last a longgggg time.

Fair week will be here in approximately 4 weeks!  These little cuties and their bunnies are practicing getting along.  One bunny is calm, the other not so much.  We are going to cuddle every single day to be ready for our showmanship judging.

I'm giving you a sneak peek of my Monday Made-It project!  I will be at the Lake of the Ozarks this weekend, so I'm starting my blog post early. :)  This involves Mason jars, chalk paint, some twine and maybe cute labels if I can find some.

Have you ever used chalk paint??

Have a wonderful weekend!

Here's how to join in on the fun:

This week is: Tell All Tuesday: Summer Snapshot!
3. Add your link below.
4. Advertise your post using any social media of your choice.

My Summer Snapshot includes a few things we have already done in the first month of summer.  June was flown by!  I can't help but count the days until school, which is a good and bad thing! :)

Here is my little ballplayers!  I am so glad we played this summer.  We have made new friends and improved our hitting! :) Coach Baker wasn't too bad to watch, either. ;)

Here I am getting a snuggle from the Hulk.  We loved the wax museum in Vegas!  If you are a lucky TPT'r that is attending the conference next month, hit this place up!  Get the cheaper tickets from the booths that sell show deals, I think ours were $16 apiece and it was totally worth it!

I loved the pools at the Bellagio!  Honestly, I would rather soak up the sun instead of being inside gambling.  Saw some interesting swim suits at that place...  ;) hehehe

So there's a quick snapshot of the first month of summer for the Bakers!  Hope yours is going great!

Let's make it better by giving away a product!!  Enter the Rafflecopter below for a chance to score Short Vowel Fluency Read And Check!
